Vintage Tavern Holding Spaghetti Dinner For The Salvation Army

On Sunday afternoon, April 27, you can help The Salvation Army while enjoying a plate of delicious spaghetti.  Local entrepreneur Jeff Payton is hosting a special fund-raiser to help The Salvation Army’s food pantry, here in St. Clair County. The dinner will take place at his establishment, The Vintage Tavern, 103 Michigan Street, from 12:00p.m. until 3:00 p.m., for a minimum donation of $10.00 for adults & $5.00 for children 11 years old and under.  All funds donated will go directly to The Salvation Army, and will be used to help those in need in St. Clair County.  Payton says, his family has a long history of being involved in the work of the Salvation Army, and he has seen the wonderful work they have done over the years.  He says is it an organization that spends very little in administrative costs, with much of the funds raised going directly to those in need.   For additional details about the event, contact The Vintage at 810-982-1866.
