The Port Huron Museum will be open today and tomorrow for school Mid-Winter Break vacation. The Carnegie Museum hours are being extended for Monday, 2/17 and Tuesday, 2/18 for this week, to include these Mid-Winter programs.

The following special programs will be on-going throughout each day. Drop-in Monday or Tuesday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Harriet Tubman Book Project

There will be a short history discussion about the life and contribution of Harriet Tubman, a major figure in Black history. You will put together a small booklet, a few pages long, and take it home to remember this famous person. Drop-in, free.(con’t)

Museum Scavenger Hunt

Join a group for hunting objects, indoors, throughout the Carnegie Museum. See if you can be the first one to find all of the hidden “treasures”. Drop-in, free with admission.

History Topic Coloring Sheets

Try your coloring skills with one or more sheets to color. Each sheet will have an image of an historic event. Take your completed project home for framing. Drop-in, free.
