Earth Fair will be held at Goodells County Park on Friday, April 25 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Admission and parking are free. Earth Fair is St. Clair County’s largest and liveliest Earth Day celebration. It is a two-day festival designed to showcase healthy good-for-you organics in food, energy, transportation, clothing, home, gardening and more. Earth Fair is a blend of companies, artisans, demonstrations, exhibits and entertainment acts as well as specialty attractions, food and live furry friends that’s fun for the whole family. The Earth Fair committee is still in need of individuals who are interested in volunteering at Earth Fair. Volunteers work in shifts on the day and time of their choice and receive a free Earth Fair t-shirt. (con’t)
Free Shuttle – Two Blue Water Area Transit busses will be running from the Vantage Point Maritime Center and Vinicker’s Market in Wadhams to Goodells County Park from 10am – 4pm on Saturday. Shuttle riders receive an exclusive Earth Fair button which doubles as a bus ticket and a coupon for receiving discounts while at Earth Fair. Shuttle rides are free.
Tree & Shrub Sale – The St. Clair Conservation District will be selling a variety of flowering trees, conifers and shrubs.Friday and Saturday.
Lords of the Sky show – The Howell Nature Center is bringing its 45-minute live birds of prey show, including a bald eagle. Shows are at 11 am and 12:30 pm at the Main Stage. Saturday only.
Workshops – Held in the Visitor’s Center, workshops are 20-minutes, general seating, and open to all ages. Topics range from polishing a Petoskey stone, solar energy, learning about Osprey, bee keeping, and backyard birding. Friday andSaturday.

The St. Clair County Environmental Education Network was developed in 2002 and consists of county and local agencies, and nonprofit groups committed to environmental education in St. Clair County.
