A Life Intercepted

Charles Martin at his best! Loved this story – I am always reminded of the worst and better parts of people when reading a Martin novel. In A Life Intercepted, I learned a bit about football – and a lot about love, forgiveness and redemption! Martin gives us a perfect reminder of why we need to get past hurts, and how much better our life can be, if we choose love!  As always, the characters are rich in detail, and if you have a teen boy who isn’t much of a reader, this would be a great story to get him interested.  Enjoy!

The Sunday Wife

I read “The Sunday Wife” a while ago and really enjoy Cassandra King’s writing.  This novel touches on the life of a pastor’s wife who never quite fit into the mold of a minister’s spouse.  After twenty years of marriage, as her husband is assigned to an even larger church, she is befriended by a woman whose friendship makes her question everything she has valued throughout her life.   Her husband is not pleased, and she needs to make some big decisions that I believe you will find intriguing.  Enjoy!
