I was attending a fundraiser and as usual with me, the subject came around to reading. One of the gals in our group pulled this book out of her handbag, and said this story by Sally Hepworth was what her book club was reading. Having heard of this author, but not having read any of her work, of course I had to pick up the book. This story is about Anna Forster, who is only 38 years old, and is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. Her family decides it is best to have her live in an assisted living facility, where she meets Luke, who is young as well, with a different type of memory loss. Eve Bennett, who has suffered a number of heartbreaks, comes to work at the home, along with her daughter, and is fascinated by the bond she sees between Luke and Anna. When the families of the two try to keep them separated, Eve decides to risk her position at the home to keep them together. Can love survive without strong memory? You decide. Enjoy!
