Illegals Detained After St. Clair River Crossing

On Monday, Port Huron Police were alerted by the Coast Guard about three men crossing the St. Clair River from Canada on a raft. After abandoning the raft near the Black River, the men were spotted running on Michigan Street with duffel bags. Police detained them and handed them over to U.S. Border Patrol for entering the country illegally. All three were identified as Mexican citizens.
