At a special meeting held this morning (Tuesday) by the Port Huron Board of Education saw approval of James Cain’s superintendent contract with a vote of 7 -0. This proposed contract is for five years, offering an annual salary of $180,000., an annual annuity of $12,000., along with thirty five personal, vacation and sick days, and a monthly mileage allowance of $400. The contract calls for Cain to be on the job, July 1. Current Superintendent Ron Wollen retires June 30. Cain has served as the superintendent for Marysville Schools since 2011.
