Port Huron Police Department promoted five officers to leadership roles, filling vacancies after Chief Brian Kerrigan’s recent promotion. Family, friends, and colleagues gathered at the City Building to witness the ceremony. Capt. Jeremy Young was named assistant chief, while Lt. Ryan Sheedy, Sgt. Chad Smith, Detective Travis Reed, and Officer James Campbell also received promotions. Each officer had a family member pin their new badge, marking years of dedication to the department, with service ranging from 9 to 21 years.
