SC4 Skippers Sail To Victory Over Florida’s Blue Wave At NJCAA Championships

In a thrilling match at the NJCAA National Championship tournament in Danville, Illinois, the St. Clair County Community College (SC4) Skippers men’s basketball team secured a decisive win, triumphing 87-72 against the Florida State College at Jacksonville Blue Wave. 

Led by standout performances from Isaiah Jones, who contributed 20 points, and La’Tavius Vaughter, shooting a perfect 7-7 from the free-throw line for 15 points, the Skippers showcased their prowess on the court. Zaveon Little’s sharpshooting added 14 points, including four three-pointers, while Zahki Fallen’s 14-point performance, coupled with flawless free throw execution, bolstered the team’s success. 

With their sights set on further victory, the Skippers are set to face off against the Aztecs from Pima, Arizona, in their upcoming match on Friday at noon (ET), with hopes of securing a place in Saturday’s showdown for 7th place in America at 1:00 p.m.
