Saturday night much of the area was hit with high winds and heavy rain, but, Marine City took a beating. The storm didn’t last more than about 10 minutes according to reports, however, considerable damage was sustained with huge trees downed across houses and roadways from rain, hail and winds that ranged from 60 to 70 mph. Some 7,000 people were without power Sunday morning through St. Clair County and thousands of others throughout Michigan. (con’t) According to the DTE power outage map, all residents power has been restored. But, you know we live in Michigan when we saw temperatures in the low 70’s on Sunday, and could see snow tonight, with temperatures not supposed to be out of the 30s tomorrow.
