A number of St. Clair County residents remained without power this morning, following yesterday’s storm that blew through the area. Warnings were issued shortly after 6:00 p.m., for severe thunderstorms that ran through 7:15. Residents were warned of the possibility of flash flooding as the rain hit with a force. This morning, the power outages are scattered, some in Port Huron, another few patches of outages in Burtchville township, etc. For the most part, St. Clair County was left unharmed. Showers and thunderstorms expected once again for today. Residents are reminded to stay tuned to WGRT for weather updates when the skies turn stormy.
