Police Identify Couple In Saturday’s Shooting

A shooting that occurred Saturday at the Marysville Jump N Jam left a 32-year-old Kimball Township woman dead at about 5:30 p.m.  Cheryl Myny 32, was killed by her husband 34-year-old Matthew Pilarowski, following an argument.  Myny was the owner of the Jump N Jam.  Both of Myny’s children were at the business when the shooting occurred. Reports say her husband entered the children’s play area and shot her as she had returned to  working the business.  She was transported to Lake Huron Medical Center where she later died.   Matthew Pilarowski was found dead in a Kimball Township home late Saturday.  While there were others at the establishment during the shooting, no other injuries were reported.  Witness statements led to finding the suspect’s vehicle, and after obtaining a search warrant, officers entered the home, where they found the suspect dead of what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  The shooting remains under investigation.
