$10M Boost for Local Recovery Programs

State Representative Joseph Pavlov announced last week that northern St. Clair County and Worth Township are included in a proposal for $10 million in state funding aimed at strengthening substance use recovery programs.

The money, if approved as part of the upcoming Michigan state budget, would
help local organizations such as the Michigan Association of Recovery
Community Organizations expand services, increase community partnerships,
and provide greater support for families and individuals impacted by substance
use disorders.

Rep. Pavlov noted that while the proposal is still pending final budget approval,
the goal is to give residents better access to recovery resources and a stronger
chance at a healthier future.
