Almont Raiders Fall in Triple-Overtime

Almont High’s football season ended Saturday in a 25-19 triple-overtime loss to Jackson Lumen Christi in the Division 6 state semifinals at Wildcat Stadium. Jacob Stewart ran for two touchdowns, and Blake Lane threw a short TD pass, but missed extra points in overtime kept the Raiders from winning. Almont’s defense made key stops, including a blocked point-after-touchdown and late fourth-down stands, but Lumen Christi scored the final touchdown in the third overtime. The Raiders finish 12-1, marking their third state semifinal since ’19.
