Now is the time for Canadian employers to start applying for the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) 2023 Program.
On November 30th, Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth, Marci Ien announced the launch period for the program. Employers have from now until January 12th, to apply for funding that enables them to hire young Canadians for work this summer. To be eligible, employers must be nonprofit, public sector, or private sector with 50 or less full-time employees.
This year’s priorities include youth with disabilities, black and other racialized youth, indigenous, as well as small businesses and nonprofit organizations that meet the criteria for eligibility.
