Arab American Cultural Presentation at SC4

St. Clair County Community College is welcoming David Serio from the Arab American National Museum (AANM) in Dearborn to share a cultural presentation for the community. The presentation will focus on the history, culture, and immigration of Arab Americans to the United States.

Serio is an Educator and Public Programmer at AANM, which, according to its website, is the “first and only museum of its kind in the United States.” The museum opened in 2005, and it is located on Michigan Avenue in Dearborn, Michigan.

The Arab American Cultural Presentation is in honor of Arab American History Month, and sponsored by SC4’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

The event takes place on Thursday, April 21 from 10 – 11:30 AM at the Fine Arts Theatre and it’s also available via live stream on the college’s website.
