Arnold Road Bridge Work

Crews will start rebuilding the Arnold Road bridge over Meldrum Creek in Ira Township on February 9th. The $1 million project will replace the old bridge with a new aluminum culvert, along with drainage, guardrail, and paving improvements. M.L. Chartier Excavating of Michigan is handling the work, funded by local, state, and federal partners. While drivers won’t be able to cross Meldrum Creek until mid-May, local traffic and emergency access will stay open on both sides. Residents should expect some travel delays through spring.
