Taking A Shot At Breast Cancer Boosts Comfort For Patients At Ascension River District Hospital

In a heartwarming collaboration, Emily and Steve Goudy’s “Taking a Shot at Breast Cancer” initiative, backed by the Community Foundation of St. Clair County and generous donors since 2010, continues to extend a helping hand to local breast cancer patients. With a $10,000 contribution from “Taking a Shot at Breast Cancer” and an $8,352 grant from the Ascension River District Hospital fund (formerly St. John’s River District Hospital), the hospital procured four advanced infusion chairs.
