History Lecture Series

The Sanilac County Historical Society has unveiled its ’25 History Lecture Series, set to begin May 23rd. Two Arrested in 2018 Homicide

The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people in connection with the ’18 death of 3-year-old Matthew Maison from Port Huron Township. Fatal Collision at Notorious Intersection

On Wednesday afternoon, St. Clair County Central Dispatch received a call on a tragic collision at Shea and Starville Roads. It claimed the life of a 52-year-old Clay Township man, Joseph Richard Quesnell. While driving a Ford Ranger, Quesnell stopped at the intersection but then proceeded, leading to a crash with a pickup traveling west on Shea Road. Emergency responders pronounced Quesnell dead at the scene. The intersection, known for previous accidents, has stop signs on Starville Road with warnings about Shea’s free-flowing traffic.
