Fawaz “Fred” Toma, the owner of a BP station on Gratiot Avenue in Clinton Township, is taking steps to modernize his business and compete with other nearby fuel centers. Toma plans to demolish the existing station and construct a much larger, more advanced facility. This expansion will offer more services, improving the station’s appeal to local drivers. By upgrading, Toma aims to keep his business competitive in an area where modern fuel stations are offering increasingly diverse options for customers.
