Boil Water Advisory for Harsens Island

A water main break on Harsens Island caused a temporary loss of pressure, prompting a boil water advisory that is still in effect for residents. While the main was repaired over the weekend, there is concern that bacteria may have entered the water supply due to the pressure loss. Residents are urged to boil water for at least one minute before use and flush their plumbing and appliances. The advisory will be lifted once the water meets safety standards.
