The Port Huron Police and Fire Departments teamed up for this year’s Battle of the Badges charity hockey game, raising nearly $11,000 for local causes. The funds will support The Arc of St. Clair County, which advocates for people with intellectual disabilities, and Blue Water Clubhouse, which assists those with mental illness. A new 50/50 raffle raised almost $1,000 for Blue Water Clubhouse. While the Fire Department took home the trophy, organizers are already gearing up for next year’s game.
