The award-winning Black River Tattoo Convention is bringing ink, art, and entertainment back to Port Huron next month. The three-day event runs June fifth through seventh at the Blue Water Convention Center. Organizers say visitors can expect live tattoo competitions, charity art auctions, performances, and vendors from across the region. Entertainment includes magician Anthony Grupido, speed painter Dave Santia, and martial arts demonstrations from Dragon Edong. Event founder Jonathon Anderson says the convention was created to celebrate tattoo culture while giving back to the community.
