November Is National Home Care And Hospice Month

The month of November has plenty of celebrations, and holidays that we can honor and enjoy. Holidays such as Veteran’s Day, and Thanksgiving stand out most to us, but did you know that November is also Native American Heritage month as well? There is also another group of individuals who are also honored and celebrated this month that many of us depend on daily.

November is National Home Care and Hospice month. Millions of nurses, therapists, and home care aides commit themselves to making sure that we and our loved ones are taken care of mentally as well as physically.

Some of the things you can do to celebrate or show our home care workers some love could be Taking them out for dinner or lunch, a simple thank you card, or you can honor employees and volunteers with special gifts and awards.

To honor one of our local community’s home care businesses, tune in to 102.3 FM WGRT today and learn more about BeLove Home Care and how they help serve our community along with many others in the home care industry.
