A tragic accident claimed the life of a 34-year-old Kingston man in Dayton Township last Saturday. The man was riding his motorcycle east on Sanilac Road when he veered into oncoming traffic, smashing into a car driven by a 50-year-old Sandusky woman. The crash happened around 8:40 AM, leaving the motorcyclist dead and the woman with minor injuries. Local police and emergency crews rushed to the scene. Alcohol wasn’t involved in this devastating collision.

A piece of agricultural land in Marysville could soon see new development. Interstate Capital is eyeing the plot along Range Road, between 18th Street and Cuttle Road, for a project that could include manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution. Carmello Wilson, 17, was sentenced to 22 to 32 years in prison for the ’23 murder of 19-year-old Curtis “KC” Cureton in Flint.
