The City of St. Clair is set to undergo a transformative project at Klecha Park, thanks to a recent approval by the St. Clair County Parks and Recreation Commission.
In their October 11th, 2023 meeting, the commission unanimously approved three grant applications from the City, allocating $10,000 for each. The funds are earmarked for the development of a multi-purpose sports court, splashpad, and walking path, aiming to enhance recreational opportunities for residents.
Dennis Delor Jr., Director of St. Clair County Parks, expressed pride in collaborating with local governments, emphasizing how County Park millage funds contribute to the improvement of local parks. The Klecha Park project aligns seamlessly with their grant program, reflecting a commitment to fostering vibrant community spaces.
