Port Huron’s Conner Street is open again after seven weeks of construction, but drivers will notice a major change. The road is now one-way westbound between Electric Avenue and Military Street, and drivers heading south on Electric can no longer turn left onto Conner. City leaders say the redesign makes the busy intersection safer for drivers and pedestrians. The project also added new pavement, sidewalks, signals, ramps, and green space. More work is expected in November, with historic lighting and trail connections planned for spring.
