Conservation Stewards Program

The Michigan State University Extension’s Conservation Stewards Program is now signing up adults in St. Clair County for its Fall classes. Starting September 10th, participants will meet Wednesday evenings at various local natural spots to learn about Michigan’s ecosystems and take part in hands-on conservation projects. The eight-week course combines online lessons, fieldwork, and expert guidance from local mentors. Program leaders say it builds strong community ties and helps protect the environment right here in St. Clair County. Registration closes August 17 or when spots fill. Scholarships are available
