St. Clair County is receiving $45,000 from SEMCOG to update its trail strategy, giving planners a chance to fix missing links and strengthen the county’s growing trail network. The money will help the County Metropolitan Planning Commission hire a consultant to study current trail conditions, review recent improvements, and hear from residents. Officials say the goal is to identify the best routes for closing gaps, set priorities for future construction, and support completion of the Bridge to Bay Trail and the Wadhams to Avoca Trail.
