Sandusky City Manager Dave Faber announced that demolition began Tuesday at 24 and 36 South Morse Street. The city had long planned this area for parking expansion, especially after purchasing the former dance studio in ’19. In response to business owners’ requests, the project gained momentum in fall of ’23. In other news, the city council approved a recommendation for the Don Felipe restaurant to obtain a liquor license, a crucial step in their planned expansion to Sandusky, though an opening date was still unclear.
