Detroit Welcomes Back The Winter At Valade Events

The popular Winter at Valade events return to the City of Detroit, providing free family fun for the community taking place each weekend from now until February 19th.  

The festive themed events will feature ice sculptures, cultural events, live music, characters for the kids, and more. The festivities will be held at Valade Park, located at 2670 Atwater St. The Fire & Ice Festival which ended yesterday, featured live performances, archery and ax throwing, as well as a meet and greet with Disney character Elsa. 

The upcoming three event festivals will each feature their own unique themes as well. Winter Around The World takes place January 20th – 22nd, Motown Love will take place February 3rd – 5th, and Mardi Gras at Valade will be February 17th – 19th. 

The event is free of charge to the public and will also have free parking available across the street from the park. Public restrooms will also be available.
