Disaster Response Fund Donation

The St. Clair County Disaster Response Fund got a New Year’s boost with a $50,000 donation from the Kusch Family Donor Advised Fund, pushing the fund past $100,000. Started in ’24 with a donation from the James C. Acheson Charitable Foundation, the fund helps in emergencies. Community Foundation board chair Patti Manley expressed gratitude for the support. The fund aims to provide immediate financial aid during disasters. The Kusches, active community supporters since relocating to Port Huron in 2011, continue to make a significant local impact. The foundation remains committed to supporting the community in times of need.
