A major drug bust occurred near the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron when police arrested Sukjindr Singh, 29, after finding over 370 pounds of cocaine in his semi-truck. On October 15th, St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies made the record-breaking seizure, valued at $16.5 million. Singh, now charged with delivery of a controlled substance, appeared in court on October 18th, where bond was set at $500,000. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison and significant fines. A preliminary hearing is set for November 5th.
