At the Economic Development Alliance’s Semi-Annual meeting last week, over 150 attendees learned about St. Clair County’s strong ’24 economic growth, which saw 468 new jobs and $173.8 million in private investment. CEO Dan Casey highlighted the support provided to 220 businesses, not including small ones. Looking ahead, the EDA will focus on retaining businesses, boosting affordable housing, and strengthening local programs. Several companies were also honored for their contributions to local growth.
