A Port Huron woman is celebrating after the Michigan Court of Appeals gave her dog another lease on life. Chance, an eighty-pound American bulldog, was ordered euthanized after biting a house guest’s nose in ’24. But appeals court judges say the district court must reconsider testimony that the guest leaned within inches of Chance’s face, scolded him loudly, and may have waved a shoe. Chance has remained kenneled for more than two years while the case continues.
