Festival Concert Series 2025

The Festival Concert Series at First United Methodist Church of Port Huron will present the Brass Roots Trio “American Expression”. Brass Roots Trio has been entertaining fans around the US and UK for 20 years with their sensational programs, breathtaking virtuosity, and commentaries that are informative and often humorous. Their lively program “American Expression” captures vignettes of the many cultures of America with music ranging from Aaron Copland’s “Rodeo to Fats Waller’s “Alligator Crawl”. With 3 musicians and a variety of instruments–trumpet, flugelhorn, French horn, Native American flute, vocals and piano — Travis Heath, Douglas Lundeen and Rosetta Senkus Bacon infuse their music with exuberant energy.
