THE LELAND WINE AND FOOD FESTIVAL kicks off summer on Saturday, June 8th from 12pm to 6pm. The Lambton Seniors Association is hosting its 30th Annual Picnic at the Petrolia Fair Grounds at the Lions Pavilion. Admission cost is $4 – which includes, hot dogs, hamburgers, dessert, tea and coffee, donated by the Petrolia Lions Club. Chairs are available or bring your own. Since 1987 the “Boys’ Home Run” has been a feature of Bright’s Grove every Father’s Day. It has grown to include a 10k run, a 5k run, a 5k walk, a 7k rollerblade, and 7k, 20k and 40k bicycle rides.
