A 5-year-old Cottrellville Township boy is being called a humble hero after saving his grandmother’s life. Hudson Tenn’s grandmother collapsed at her home in July, and when he couldn’t dial 911 correctly, he put shoes on himself and his 3-year-old sister and walked about three-quarters of a mile for help. He flagged down neighbors, who called 911, then led St. Clair County deputies three miles to his parents’ house. Hudson has received a sheriff’s citation and was honored last week in Port Huron by U.S. Rep. Lisa McClain.
