Flu Vaccine Options at St. Clair County Health Department

The St. Clair County Health Department offers several options for vaccinating babies, kids, teens, and adults against influenza.

Public health officials recommend the flu vaccine for anyone 6 months or older, and want the public to know that even if the vaccine doesn’t completely prevent them from getting the flu, it can decrease the risk of hospitalization and death.

There are walk-in options at the Health Department’s main office on 28th Street in Port Huron on Mondays from 10 AM – 6 PM and Wednesdays from 8 AM – 4 PM. The health department schedules appointments for vaccine on the other weekdays.

The Teen Health Center on the campus of Port Huron High School has vaccine appointments available by calling (810) 987-1311.

Most insurances pay for the cost of the flu vaccine, but the Health Department does have options available for the uninsured based on income eligibility and family size.
