Prosecutors accuse Sarah Elise Hager of torturing the kids—locking them in dog cages, beating them, and forcing cruel punishments. The case surfaced last July after interviews at a child advocacy center revealed the claims. Hager is held on $150,000 bond and faces multiple felony charges that could bring life in prison. A court hearing was set for Tuesday and a preliminary exam is set for March 17th.
