Parents and caregivers in Sandusky have a new opportunity to learn how to spot risky teen behaviors at a free event next Wednesday. The “Hidden in Plain Sight” session takes place at noon in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room, with a virtual Zoom option available. A prevention specialist with the Sanilac County Health Department will guide participants through the HIPS Kit, showing how everyday items in a teen’s room can signal substance use or other concerning behaviors.
