A Michigan woman has been found guilty of first-degree murder for orchestrating the killing of her children’s father. A jury convicted 37-year-old Sayon Florence Thursday after 2 hours of deliberation, finding she arranged for Vincent Buckles to be shot and killed at his home in January of ’25. Prosecutors say Florence wanted full custody of her kids and recruited a codefendant to carry out the killing. She was also convicted of arson, home invasion and felony firearm use, and is scheduled to be sentenced November 2nd.
