A Sanilac County man is dead after a farming accident in Delaware Township. The Sheriff’s Office says a 67-year-old man from the Palms area was killed last Friday morning while cleaning a hay chopper on Range Line Road. He became pinned between parts of the machine. Central Dispatch got the call just after 10:30. Deputies, Delaware Township Fire, and Sanilac EMS all responded, but the man could not be saved. The Sheriff’s Office is offering condolences to his family and friends.
