A deadly house fire in Millington Township recently left two people dead and four others hospitalized. Michigan State Police say the blaze broke out around 11:15 p.m. on November 24th. Family members tried to rescue a 53-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman but couldn’t get through heavy smoke. Four other residents were taken to a hospital, and a Millington officer who helped with the rescue was treated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
