Port Huron is preparing to launch Boat Week with a crowd-favorite event downtown. The Rotary Club will host its annual International Day Parade on July 15, stepping off at 6:30 p.m. from Huron and Glenwood avenues. This year’s theme, “Happy Birthday U.S.A.,” honors the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Parade organizers say the route will be slightly shorter than past years, ending at Court Street. Community members and local groups can still register to participate or become sponsors online, with updates shared through the Port Huron Rotary’s website and social media pages.
