The twelve-bed “small house” addition, already under construction, is set to open this December. It’s designed like a home, not a facility—private rooms, shared living spaces, and familiar caregivers focused on comfort and independence. The campaign will restore scaled-back features such as garden spaces, adaptive furniture, and safety technology, aiming to make the site a provincial first in dementia-focused small-house care.
