Two parents in Lapeer County are behind bars after investigators say a two‑month‑old suffered severe abuse. Deputies arrested Alyssa Holt at a Davison Township home on May 1st, while her husband, Troy Holt, was taken into custody later that day at Fort Custer during Army Reserve training. Authorities say the case began in November after the infant was found unresponsive and later diagnosed with brain bleeding and multiple broken bones. Both face first-degree child abuse and torture charges. They are due back in court May 8th.
