In Sarnia, leadership changes are taking effect at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62 as John Surins takes over the local presidency from Ron Realesmith. Ontario Command restricted Realesmith’s clubhouse privileges while a confidential Article 3 complaint is processed. While officials have not disclosed the specific allegations, internal rules allow interim suspension of executive duties during an open investigation, following months of online scrutiny regarding branch governance, voting eligibility, and administration of the historic 4.5 million dollar Catch the Ace draw.
