Jackson Kohler, the standout guard from Yale, earned a spot on the annual Michigan Sports Writers All-State Division 2 First Team after leading the Bulldogs to a 22-4 record, a BWAC title, and a district championship. Kohler set school records for points, steals, and 3-pointers, averaging 21.5 points per game. He wasn’t alone, as fellow Blue Water Area players Alex Jamison from Port Huron Northern and Braylon Frantz from St. Clair were also recognized for their achievements, with Jamison earning Second Team honors and Frantz landing an Honorable Mention.
