Commuters in the Richmond and New Haven area should prepare for $3.2 million in roadwork along M-19. The Michigan DOT is upgrading nearly 6 miles of M-19 between New Haven and 31 Mile roads. The project includes replacing asphalt, improving drainage, and updating curbs. From late April to mid-August, expect lane closures with flag control, mainly from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, and occasional weekend work. This project is expected to create 31 local jobs and improve safety for drivers across the region.
